Shipping & Returns

ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES: 

Our postal carrier of choice is Canada Post.

Orders are processed 5 days/week. Orders received by 9am MST are shipped within 24 hours of receipt.  

Your cart will show an accurate estimated delivery time at check out, based on your delivery address.   

 
STANDARD GROUND SHIPPING:
  • Chatters only ships to Canadian addresses at this time.
  • Our Standard Shipping carrier is Canada Post for all deliveries, in order to accommodate all shipping needs across Canada.  Canada Post will deliver your package to the address indicated on your order. If there is no one available to receive the order, Canada Post will hold your parcel at the closest post office where you will be able to pick it up within a set time frame. In the event the parcel is refused or not picked up within this time frame, it will be sent back to Chatters' Warehouse with the option of re-shipping or refund.
  • Tracking is available through Canada Post and will indicate the estimated delivery date.
  • Express and Priority shipping are usually available at an additional cost.
  • Aerosol and nail polish items are not eligible for air shipping due to government regulated shipping standards.

DELIVERY PROCESSING TIME: Orders are only shipped on weekdays. Orders can take anywhere from 2 to 14 business days to arrive, depending on your area. See your estimated delivery date in your cart in the shipping screen during checkout. At this time, please expect delivery delays as postal services experience much higher demand than normal across the country due to COVID-19. We are all working hard to ship your orders as fast and as safely as possible! 

PRODUCT DISCLAIMER: While great care has been taken to ensure accuracy of all prices, descriptions, and images, Chatters reserves the right to correct errors or misprints, and adjust prices accordingly.

USE AND FITNESS OF PRODUCT: Chatters will not be liable for any product sold that has been damaged, rendered defective, or from any injury suffered as a result of accident, misuse, abuse, improper or inadequate maintenance of the product, or by any operation outside the normal usage parameters as described in the user instructions shipped with the product, or any other external cause.

 

 

Chatters' Return Policy

We understand that sometimes the product you purchased may not be the right one for you, and we want all of our customers to enjoy a Style Happy experience at Chatters. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’ll do our best to help you find the right one. In-store and online purchases are able to be returned between all Chatters locations, provided the below guidelines are met. When returning items ordered online in-store, your online Order Confirmation must be presented. Items ordered online being returned online must be received back to our warehouse prior to the issue of a refund or replacement. 

PRODUCT & HAIR TOOL RETURNS: All liquid products & hair tools may be returned with proof of purchase (in-store receipt, online order confirmation) for a full refund within 30 days of original purchase date. If our Salon in your area has temporarily closed due to COVID-19, we will accept returns up to 30 days after our Salon has re-opened. All original components (packaging, attachments, etc.) and any applicable free items must accompany your return. Returns without original proof of purchase may be accepted for exchange only. If you are unable to find a suitable exchange product, a gift card may be issued for the current value of the originally purchased product. 

DEFECTIVE HAIR TOOLS: Hair Tools with a manufacturer defect can be exchanged with proof of purchase within one year of the original purchase date.

PERSONAL ITEMS & GIFT CARDS: Personal items such as combs, brushes, nail products, polishes, cosmetics, hair accessories, hair extensions, and opened Home Hair Colour items are final sale and not returnable. Gift Cards are final sale and are not refundable and/or not exchangeable.

ONLINE PURCHASES: Online Clearance items and prices are available online only, while quantities last and are final sale. Online return costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. 

Brunette the Label products are sold online only and therefore can only be returned or exchanged to our online store. These products cannot be returned or exchanged to any of our Salon locations. 

Your online Order Confirmation must be presented when returning items purchased online to one of our salon locations. You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning items to our warehouse. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
If you are shipping an item over $75, please consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

KLARNA & PAYPAL - ONLINE ONLY: online orders paid for with Klarna & PayPal can only be returned through our online store, they are not eligible for return in any of our Chatters Hair Salon locations.

Do not return any products to Chatters via air shipment. Aerosol products in pressurized containers and products containing certain chemicals are restricted to ground shipping service only. All returns are subject to approval and at Chatters discretion.
